why do my muscles fatigue so quickly

why do my muscles fatigue so quickly

when i lift weights, my muscles fatigue very quickly. (for example, when I do 10 reps of bench press). i can EASILY do 6 or 7 reps. And all of a sudden, the 8th rep will be impossible. For most people, do the reps get proportionately more difficult? Because for me, it goes from relatively easy lifting, and straight away after a certain number of reps, virtually impossible. I know for a fact I am lifting as much and as hard as I can with maximum intensity. How can I change my workout to avoid this? Does this happen to you too? And should I be worried about this? thanks Misc. Edit: I should add, that after a 3-4 minute rest between sets, I can lift the same as previously. ...

why do old people have white hair

why do old people have white hair

White hair is more noticeable in people with a darker hair color. Although white hair is characteristic of aging, colorless hair strands can appear at any age Б even while youБre still in high school or college. If youБre a teenager or in your 20s, you might find one or more strands of white hair. There could be ways to restore pigmentation, but it depends on the cause. Here are common causes of premature white hair. 1. Genetics Your makeup plays a big role in when (or if) you develop white hair. If you notice white hair at an early age, itБs likely that your parents or grandparents also had graying or white hair at an early age. You canБt change genetics. But if you donБt like the way your gray hair looks, you can always color your hair. 2. Stress Everyone deals with stress from time to

why do we need a standard system of measurement

why do we need a standard system of measurement

A universal system reduces the confusion when different systems of measurement are used and makes it easy to compare measurements taken by different persons. Hereвs a real-world example of the confusion that can occur. In 1983 an Air Canada Boeing 767 temporarily had no working fuel gauges, so the ground crew resorted to calculating the 767's fuel load by hand. They used a procedure similar to calculating the volume of oil in a car by taking a dipstick reading. This gave them the volume. But airlines measure the amount of fuel by mass. They needed the of jet fuel to make the proper calculations. The ground crew used 1. 77 lb/L as the density, as they had on all other planes in the fleet. But the brand new 767 was metric and used 0. 8 kg/L as the density. The plane had only about half the

why does my dog smile at me

why does my dog smile at me

I was just wondering how many of y'all have dogs that smile at you? I've got 2 Yorkies, a boy named Peanut and a girl named Prissy. Peanut rarely smiles at me. Every now and then when he has to go outside and he is trying to get my attention, if I ask him (in a baby talk voice of course) "What is it, Peanut? Do you need to go outside? " He will get really excited, start running around and almost nod his head up and down. He will look up at me and smile a little. He doesn't have a big cheesy smile, he typically will only show one tooth. He kinda looks like he is doing an Elvis lip curl. HA HA! Prissy, on the other hand, smiles at me all the time. Every morning when I wake up, I wake up to her staring me right in the face. The split second that she sees just a little movement out of me when

why does my finger turn white when cold

why does my finger turn white when cold

There's a medical reason behind cold fingers and toes, when a chill seems to instantly turn extremities white. The May issue of Mayo Clinic Health Letter explains the likely cause: (ray-NODES) disease, a disorder of the blood vessels. Exposure to cold normally results in slowing of blood flow to fingers and toes. Small arteries in extremities narrow, reducing blood flow and preserving the core body temperature. For people with Raynaud's disease, the response is exaggerated for unknown reasons. The small arteries constrict dramatically, most often in the fingers and toes, but the nose, ears and cheeks also can be affected. The constriction, called vasospasm, can last for a little as a minute or as long as several hours. Stressful emotions can trigger vasospasm, too. There's no known cause

why does my dog walk backwards sometimes

why does my dog walk backwards sometimes

There is no obvious or confirmed explanation for this behavior, but there are three general schools of thought as to why your dog might suddenly decide to lead the way with his rear end. The first is that your dog might have a hip condition or general pain that walking backward soothes. Andrea M. Brodie, DVM suggests the behavior is associated with the fact that some older dogs begin to experience loose and easily dislocated joints. She thinks it possible that your dog might have figured out that walking backward pops the joint back in place, or keeps it in place more comfortably than walking forwards. ...

your career in animation how to survive and thrive

Part one of the book is entitled БMaking Your Dream Happen,Б and focuses on having a correct attitude, taking advantage of opportunities, managing your time and seeking out mentors. ItБs aimed at artists who are still struggling to establish themselves. The advice in this part of the book doesnБt break new ground, but Hickner backs it up with stories from the productions that heБs worked on, so these truisms are reinforced with concrete examples. Part two is entitled БLeading and Growing. Б While less useful to beginning artists, this is where the book really shines. Artists who are promoted to management positions often find themselves in unknown waters. To quote Hickner: БAlthough our new department managers may have spent years training to be at the top of their artistic disciplines,
