why do my shoulder joints hurt when i sleep

People often confuse the terms tendonitis, tendinosis, and tendinopathy. These terms, along with paratenonitis, tendon rupture, and partial tendon rupture, describe a variety of tendon conditions, including inflammation, degeneration, and injury. Tendons are the fibrous tissues that connect muscle to bone, and there are hundreds of tendons throughout the body. Certain tendons are more prone to problems than others. For example, many people have strained an Achilles tendon at one point or another. Moreover, a single tendon can have more than one problem at a time. why do we feel safe under a blanket

why do we feel safe under a blanket

Paraphasing what I read in a book. Our torso is where majority of our vital organs are located. Thus it has been an limbic response/instinct to cover your torso when confronted by danger or when placed in an uncomfortable situation. That is known as a pacifying action. You pacify yourself by covering your torso when feeling discomfort. This is why people tend to cross their arms/hold their stomach/put an object in between a person when they feel uncomfortable. This natural need to feel protected may be why you feel more at ease when under the sheets, as you feel more pacified and protected by it. FYI, the book I read was What Everybody is Saying by Joe Navarro. ...

why does my dog pee in his bed

why does my dog pee in his bed

Hi there. what a lot of great advice. We have known Benson since he was born, as a puppy he was kept with his 3 brothers in a stable at our yard, they had a crate and were paper trained. All the puppies were really good and used the paper. We took Benson home when he was 8 weeks old and used a crate as a familiar environment for him but he was soon sharing our other dogs bed. then when he started peeing in his bed I felt that it was becaused his bed took up too much room in the crate and therefore peeing on it was unavoidable. Benson's day consists of breakfast around 7:30 we then walk to school and then on for a 45 min dog walk. Sometimes I then need to go out if it is for any longer than 2 hours I have a lady that comes and takes them out for another walk and to sit with them for an

why does dead skin buildup on feet

why does dead skin buildup on feet

Care of foot skin is as important as taking care of facial skin. Excess dead layer of skin on feet in winter months can be quiet distressful as it is prone to dryness and chapping. In summers dead foot skin is equally embarrassing for cosmetic reasons. The fact is your foot skin has to bear the brunt throughout the year as it is subjected to the entire weight of body. Thickened dead skin on feet can create several unwanted problems. If you do not take care of it at right time, it is like adding fuel to the fire. What Causes Excess Dead Skin On Feet? why do we feel cold when we are wet

why do we feel cold when we are wet

It wouldnБt be a St. PatrickБs Day celebration in the Windy City without 400,000 spectators crowding the banks of the Chicago River to БoohБ and БaahБ at its (temporarily) emerald green tinge. But how do officials turn the water green? First, a bit of history: The dyeing tradition became an annual thing nearly 60 years ago, in 1962, but its real origins go back even further. In the early days of his administration as Mayor of Chicago, Richard J. Daley was a man on a mission to develop the cityБs riverfront area. There was just one problem: The river itself was a sewage-filled. In order to get to the bottom of the cityБs pollution problem and pinpoint the exact places where waste was being discarded into the waterway (and by whom), Daley authorized the pouring of a special green dye into

why do some women have hairy nipples

why do some women have hairy nipples

IT S an awkward and embarrassing problem that many women face - hairy nipples. And we aren t just talking about wispy, light hair that s not easily seen, some women have dark hair hiding in their bra. In fact, some women find the hair becomes long and coarse - kind of like chest hair on men. It is not unusual for nipples to be hairy, after all every part of human skin is covered in hair follicles. But hormonal changes or imbalances in the body can lead to more prominent hair for some women. For most it is not a cause for concern and can be easily managed with the usual hair removal methods, but sometimes hairy nipples can be a sign of a more serious problem and may require a trip to the GP. For most women the hair can be maintained with the usual hair removal options, but for some it
