why do we call earth an active planet

why do we call earth an active planet

The Earth is a planetary body with an active interior that keeps it in a state of perpetual change: gradual over the course of eras but violent and sudden on much shorter timescales. The Sun drives the weather and the hydrological cycle. This activity redistributes vast amounts of heat and fresh water across the planet s surface. It also erodes mountain chains and deposits sediments, continuously shaping the Earth s outer surface. The mass of the Sun and the Moon generate the tides, and the Sun s energy powers the ocean currents, whose massive masses of water carry heat, oxygen, and nutrients across 70 percent of the Earth s exterior. ...

why do we need to compress files

why do we need to compress files

Why do I need it? To make file storage and file backup more efficient. File compression allows you to store and back up significantly more data, faster. To effectively post files on a web page for someone else to download or to send large documents as email attachments. Files can become corrupted when they are transferred over the internet in an uncompressed format. Transfer time is lessened when files are compressed. File compression is often a necessity for sending large documents over the internet as email attachments since most email systems limit the size of each email message. Often it is easier to compress multiple documents into one document to attach to an email message rather than attaching them one-by-one. To download and open files from a web page or from your email

why does 143 stand for i love you

In numerology, the number 143 means something different. But first, let's talk about the "I Love You" meaning. "143" is slang for "I Love You. " It is not the meaning of the number. "143" simply represents the number of letters in each word of the phrase, "I Love You. Desert tortoises, as their name suggests, don t encounter many large bodies of water. But surprisingly, all turtles, even desert tortoises, can hear better underwater, recent research finds. why do we use pointers in c at all

why do we use pointers in c at all

I'm a cs student working towards my degree. My road to graduation is still a pretty far deal. However, i want to make sure that im doing everything i can to surpass all the others cs students. Anyways, i'm trying to wrap my head around why we use pointers or why ever bother using them in my code. I understand that a pointer points to an address. That address demonstrates the variable memory location. So in essence, i can determine what address my variable have. However, assuming every user is using a computer, wouldn't the address change for that specific variable, since its a dynamic value (assigned by hardware etc. )? The only time i feel i will need it is in a circumstance were i want to pass specific objects as parameters, but the only work around is through pointers (not there yet,

why does my eyeliner smudge on my eyelid

why does my eyeliner smudge on my eyelid

There could be a couple of reasons, either the eyeliner product you are using is too oily, or the skin itself is oily. I suggest first and easiest, applying a nice coat of powder on the entire lid prior to the applicaiton. While you may need occassional touchups during the day this should tell you if this is the source of the problem. Otherwise it is definitely the product itself. My favorite means of eyeliner application is after lining the eye, to go over that line with the same color of eye shadow using a small liner brush. If you don't have that you can try transparent powder on a Qtip or miniQ. This always helps the liner last much longer as well as not move. What product are you using? you may need to switch!! good luck! Б I usually respond by giving them a list of product

Dear Ongom, women, especially those in the 20 to 30 age group, normally suffer from various symptoms, including mood swings, pain in the breasts, food cravings, fatigue, irritability and depression. This is called pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS). These symptoms start about two weeks before the periods, and in some cases once the period starts. In a few cases, it can go on up to four days after the periods have begun. Unfortunately, the symptoms on their own may be mistaken for pregnancy. A period is not mere bleeding; it involves the bodyвs chemical messengers called hormones. When a woman does not get pregnant after shedding an egg, the fall in female sexual hormones leads to periods. As the hormones fall, the stress hormone (cortisol) increases, triggering increased appetite. When the
