why do some people argue about everything

Don't let yourself get riled up. Letting an argumentative person see that the argument is getting your emotions going will likely give him the sense of victory or superiority he secretly craves and urge him to keep arguing. If you appear to be unaffected by the disagreement, the other person will feel unsatisfied with the results. Eventually he may even give up arguing with you and seek out a more excitable target. Keep your voice quiet. When one person raises their voice, the other feels compelled to be louder. Speaking quietly may even make you seem wiser, which will annoy your opponent.
Why do some people always object to everything? Why do some people always disagree even before knowing the whole story? Why do some people always complain and show dissatisfaction? Ever met one of those people who never admits that he is wrong no matter what? For the first instance those people might seem weird and annoying. After all they defend a a different point of view each time they engage into a discussion but when you understand that those people are defending more than just a point of view you will get to perfectly. 1) Defending their self worth: Some people were raised to believe that being less knowledgeable about a subject makes them.

In other words when those people disagree they don't really care about the topic as much as they care about proving that they aren't ignorant of what's going on 2) Education inferiority: Some people believe that they weren't fortunate enough to receive good education. If those people believed that education is important then they might to the more educated ones. As a result they might start disagreeing with them just to prove that their education didn't make those people better than him 3) Defending a belief : In my previous article i said that people become anything but rational while defending a belief that matters to them. Even the smartest person with a PHD can become no more intelligent than a 9 years old when he defends a belief that matters to his well being. In such a case that person prefers to argue, even when he is unsure he is right, than to risk believing in something that would affect his well being 4) Striving for superiority In the i said that all human beings in a way or another but those who fail to do it in any socially acceptable way (like succeeding in life, becoming talented at something. etc) find no other way but to disagree with everyone just to feel superior to them.

After all if they proved others wrong they will temporary feel superior to them 5) Ego issues and narcissism: Narcissistic people and those with believe that they can't be wrong and that others don't have the right to complain or object to anything they say. Those people usually defend their point of view to the end just because they can never admit that they make mistakes 6) Hatred: Some people always disagree with certain people just because they hate them. Because of social norms those people can't admit that they don't like certain people and as a result they find disagreeing with them a good way to vent some of their suppressed emotions (see 7) Asserting their importance: Some people and believe that others always overlook them. In such a case those people might try to assert their importance by disagreeing with others whenever they have the chance.

By giving others a tough time each time time they disagree with them those believe that they became more important So how to deal with the people who always disagree with you? Show them the facts you just knew (By sending them this article, maybe? ). They will still disagree with you but as soon as they become on their own they will question these facts. Brave ones will admit that they were wrong and might even change their behaviour while the ones who will stay that way and even try to find flaws with the facts you showed them just to be able to sleep at night. 2knowmysef is not a complicated medical website nor a boring online encyclopedia but rather a place where you will find simple, to the point and effective information that is backed by psychology and presented in a simple way that you can understand and apply.
