why we need god in our lives

There are thousands of reasons why we need God in our lives. Reasons that make our everyday life colorful and significant. Reasons that would make us continue to survive in this crazy world. We need him because we can rest inside His arms, He can calm the raging seas and the greatest storms in our lives. We need God becauseБ 1. ) He is Our Great provider
БWe need him because he is everything we need. Б Have you ever thought about what would it be like to be jobless? Drowning in debt? Homeless? Empty materially, financially and etc.? Do you imagine sometimes in your life that you are wealthy? Successful? And a hall of fame? A beautiful life that is full of joy and peace? You need not worry because God holds his treasured possession (people) into his hands and provides everything we ever needed. If you try to look at the Bible many verses tell us that if we obey God, He would give us protection and divine preservation. He would be our shelter, refuge and our hiding place ( see. Psalm 91). Abundant prosperity is ours (see. Deuteronomy 28:11), fame and honor are his promises to his people ( see. Deuteronomy 26:19). If you need wisdom and knowledge you can ask him for it ( see. James 1:5), only Him can give you peace ( see. John 14: 27) and joy ( see. Psalm 4:7) and everything else that we need, he can give us blessings in all aspects of life Б materially, financially, physically, emotionally, spiritually and etc. Philippians 4:19 says БAnd my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus.

Б 2. ) He is Our Faithful Lover БWe need Him because He first loves us. He is our comfortБ б At this moment of your life, are you lonely? Broken hearted? In pain? Alone? Feeling ugly because someone tells you so? Have you tired already of the storms of grief around you? Remember God will give rest, comfort and hope to those people who are filled with doubts and whose hearts are filled with grief. No matter what you faced in life today or what you are about to face in the future, Jesus can give you rest because He loves you. He loves you for who you are and no matter what circumstances you are in. б His love for you is better than the love that anyone could give. Prophet Isaiah foretold that the Messiah would be sent by God Бto comfort the brokenheartedБ ( see. Isaiah 61:1). Our creator is near to those broken-hearted individuals, and I tell you that His words give comfort for those who are in deep pain and loneliness. The proof is the Psalm of King David where he said БAnd when I was burdened with worries, you comforted me and made me feel secureБ (see. Psalms 94:19). God is not watching from afar. He is very near, Likewise, He knows your pain and grief and He is the only one who can truly understand you wholeheartedly (not your mother nor your father, not your friends, not your boyfriend or husband but God alone can understand you) because you are His own masterpiece and He knows every single detail of you. б GodБs love is all we ever needed. ItБs GodБs essential nature to love because he is love (1 John 4:8).

He gave His only son Jesus. There is no greater love than thisБJohn 3:16 (a love of sacrifice) 3. ) He is our healer БWe need God because He is our Great Doctor. Our strengthБ Some people experience different kinds of diseases. Some lost their lives because of cancer, heart attack, kidney failure and etc. Serious illness has this ability to shake our worlds unlike anything else. When you have these fatal diseases every Christian will desperately want to see His miraculous power but sometimes the other side of us thinks Бwhat if His plan might be different? Trusting God is the only answer. б Christ comes to heal every aspect of our lives. He renews our hopes and heals our bodies ( see. Psalm 147:3). The song is a powerful song that declares God is fighting for us and that He is on our side. Moreover, The message of the song tells us also that the name of Jesus is powerful. Try to look at the words or the lyrics of the song and let them sink deeply into your mind and heart. God gives us the most beautiful healing power of all time. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed ( see. Isaiah 53:5). Because of JesusБ sacrifice on the cross, we are now healed and free from sin and guilt. THE NAME OF JESUS HEALS! ea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalms 23: 4) In your great needs, you will discover that God is much greater than you think.

A passenger on a recent plane trip happily divulged his spiritual views. Raised in a conservative religious home, he proudly dismissed traditional Christianity, with its radical claims about Jesus of Nazareth, because it substitutes dogma for reason, he said. Fifteen minutes later, he became an apologist for a sacred cosmos, with tarot cards and astrology. But of course, he said, these were true just for him. The encounter epitomized what we have all experienced in a culture that identifies reason with naturalism and faith with feeling. And it comes from a deeper problem: the attempt to climb to heaven on the rungs of reason, morality, and experience. The search for the sacred is what happens when our God-centered nature is taken captive by sin. Religion and spirituality are all about what we feel and think deep within our precious, delightful, individual souls. The true God calls us outdoors into a history that sweeps us into its wake. Yet we prefer to sit inside our own souls and minds, stewing in our own juices. Biblical faith emphasizes that we cannot ascend to God on our own; rather, the God of the Bible descends down to us. Our inner self is not the playground of spirit, but the haunted plains on which we build our towers of Babel. In other words, our hearts are idol factories, in bondage to sin and spin. As Jeremiah declared, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? (17:9,.
