why do you have to be respectful

I never understood why we have to be respectful in court. like noone enforces you to be respectful in public but when in court its a whole different story. this judge is just a human, he is not God. so i dont understand. I am also a believer in God, and his teaching "Have mercy on others so God may have mercy on you" I watched alot of judge videos (pretty much the unfair ones that OT posts) where they give harsh judgements and is unfair. so what do you think? What? 1. I don't care what imaginary people you think you see, that doesn't matter.

Whatever you call God is a moot point. 2. That's what happens when you live in a society, you take it's laws and you respect them and you have respect for due process. If you don't like it you're free to move. Also don't go dragging my God into whatever you think is right or wrong, my God has enough sense to understand this basic fundamental rule of life, whatever deity you worship must be one of the newer ones.
The concept of etiquette and good manners seems pointless when you're a kid, but when you grow up you realize that these customs function as a way to keep society running smoothly.

Practicing good manners is a way to be respectful of other people's space and time. If no one bothered being polite, everyday situations like eating in a restaurant, waiting in line at the post office or dealing with bad traffic would be completely intolerable. Here are a few ways to be polite: Don't talk on your cell phone in a coffee shop, store, restaurant, or any other public place where it could bother other people.

Don't cut in line except during emergencies like rushing to the hospital. Don't cut people off in traffic. Say please and thank you always! Follow rules intended to make life more pleasant for everyone, like limiting your time using a public computer so someone else can have a turn. Don't eat or drink in places where there's a rule against eating or drinking. Stop talking when the lights go down in a movie theater. Throw away or recycle your trash instead of leaving it for someone else to clean up.
